Veterinary Physiotherapy

Veterinary consultations
All consults with our experienced vets are a minimum of 20 minutes, so you won’t be rushed.

Sick pet consultations
If you’re concerned about your pet or are worried something’s just not quite right, then you will have a consultation with one of our fantastic vets.
Itching? Limping? Diarrhoea? The first place to start is with a full consultation with the vet.
Wellness checks and vaccinations
New puppy, kitten or rabbit? Or is your pet due an annual health check and booster? Then you will see the vet for a thorough examination and checkup.
It’s also a chance to discuss any niggling doubts or concerns you may have.
Long term health conditions
If your pet is on any medication long term for specific health conditions, then we may need to see them more often to make sure their condition is being managed well and discuss ongoing treatment plans.
Emergencies
In an emergency please call our normal number and you will be diverted to our on call veterinary surgeon. This allows us to maintain a manageable rota for our hardworking team and meet your pets needs effectively.
Advanced Dentistry
Practice partner Carly is able to undertake many advanced dentistry procedures including:
- Treatment of lingually displaced canines
- Maxillofacial surgery
- Treatment of jaw fractures
- Vital pulp therapy
- Total mouth extractions for advanced periodontal disease
- Dental composite bonding
Orthopaedics
Our vets carry out a variety of orthopaedic procedures, including:
- Cruciate surgery (TPLO and lateral suture procedures).
- Patella surgery
- Fracture repair
- Carpal Arthrodesis
- Tarsal and partial tarsal arthrodesis
- Femoral Head and neck excision
Soft Tissue Surgery
Many of our vets can undertake advanced soft tissue procedures, including but not limited to:
- BOAS surgery
- Cholecystectomy
- Diaphragmatic hernia repair
- Perineal hernia repair
- Anal Sacculectomy
- Perineal urethrostomy
- Liver lobe resection
OPHTHALMOLOGY
James is currently undertaking a certificate in ophthalmology. He can see consults for more complicated eye conditions as well as carry out a number of ophthalmologic surgeries, from cherry eye surgery to entropion correction and dermoid removals.
CARDIOLOGY
We are lucky enough to have several vets that can undertake echocardiography (heart scans) to investigate and diagnose the cause of heart murmurs and other cardiac issues.
VETERINARY PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION
Physiotherapy is an essential part of rehabilitation following injury or surgery. As we incorporate physiotherapy into all orthopaedic patients’ recoveries, we are lucky to regularly see the benefits physiotherapy can bring.
Katie is a master’s level qualified physiotherapist registered with both RAMP and NAVP.More information about Katie and the benefits of physiotherapy can be found here.
If you think your pet could benefit from veterinary physiotherapy, then please do get in touch with us to discuss. We can then arrange the referral to Katie if physiotherapy is an appropriate treatment option for your pet.

Our veterinary nursing team includes a specially qualified nurse dedicated to behavioral consultations. We address issues such as anxiety, aggression, and other behavioral challenges in pets.
Our consultations provide personalised strategies and support, using positive reinforcement techniques to improve your pet’s behavior and overall well-being.
We aim to create a stress-free environment for both pets and their owners, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Weight clinics
It’s all too easy to pile on the pounds and it won’t be doing your pet any favors. Our nurses run free weight clinics to help you get everything back under control. They are trained to give nutritional and exercise advice and the regular appointments can really help keep things on track.
Dental checks
Sadly, dental disease is all too common amongst the nations pets. That’s why you can have a free dental check with our nurses, and they can advise on preventative measures or advise if your pet may need any dental work carrying out.
Nail clips and anal glands
Our nurses are pros at nail clipping. We understand it can sometimes take a little patience and kindness or even bribery.
Anal glands are not anyone’s favorite job but when its needs doing, it needs doing and our nurses will get the job done.
Puppy and kitten checks
We understand you can have a lot of questions when you get a new pet. Thankfully our nurses are able to answer most questions, and if they cant they will find out for you.
New pet advice
Thinking of getting a new pet but not sure what, or you’ve decided on a dog but you’re not sure which type is best for you. Our nurses offer free chats to help you come to a decision that’s right for you and your family.
Senior pet checks
Unfortunately, as your pet gets older the chances of them having a medical condition increase. Through a few checks including urine samples, weight checks and a general check over we can pick up medical conditions much earlier meaning treatment is much more likely to be successful.
Nutritional advice
What to feed your pet can be a minefield. There are so many options out there today that it can be easy to get lost amongst all the information. Our nurses can offer unbiased advice tailored to your individual pet.
Post Op checks
If your pet has recently had an operation with us then it is likely you will see one of the nurses for the follow up checks and suture removal if required.
